Hi guys, I would like to have some comments and/or personnal experience about the cleric class, like what's the best spec for grinding lvl in your opinion and which kind of healer would be best as main tank healer. Please leave any comments that could help me!!

I have only played my cleric up to level 36 but I have experimented with a few different builds. Here are my favorite for 3 separate types: Heals: rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00Gje.E.EREtfstsR.xThis gives heavy single target heals for tank healing and also has the capability to heal groups. It also has a fair few "OH SHIT" cool down abilities. I preferred this over the other healing trees, but that is just me. Melee DPS: rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00dnj.Vxz.ExzxtrsAk.V0xAt first glance you may think WTF is this crap? Well I shall explain. Main tree is Shaman as it has so many awesome melee abilities and talents. The 2 other trees are for boosting spell power, spell crit, and crit damage bonuses. As a shaman all your spell power and spell crit becomes melee bonuses. The only downfall is that Inner Focus in the Inquisitor tree only adds 5% crit to spells, not melee attacks. Not to worry though as you have a few instant cast spells that you use often anyway. Overall you get 60% extra crit damage bonus on top of the 200% crit damage bonus you have naturally! Massive Blow can crit pretty high Ranged Caster DPS: rift.zam.com/en/stc.html?t=00jdG.V0x.EEkigtkqz.VThis is by far my favorite cleric spec. Your single target damage is quite decent and you have strong AoE capabilities. Combining your instant crit (45 second cooldown) with Soul Drain against at least 4 enemies = annihilation. You also have a shield, instant cast heals, the ability to rez, and a few HP increases from buffs. OH and your main DoT has a pretty decent health return each tick These are the 3 builds I found to be my favorite. I did try a tank build at one stage and it seemed very promising - I never got the chance to try it out though. Hope I have helped Enjoy.
